Binders that are better for high school?

I decided to get the color folder design for high school. come in two types, there a tough, resilient and binder is then poly binders that are really flexible. So one of the youngest are in high school use? And what would be best to use?

I like the folders resistant. Protecting my papers much better than the flexible, especially when I just throw things in my closet when I'm in a hurry.
