Hi I have a Kyocera Mita FS-3800 computer printer. After replacing the cartridge from the printer and do general cleaning, led to the paper jam me a massage. However, there is no jam locator. Is there a way to tell the printer there is no jam? Any suggestions would be appriciated.
The possibility of such primary error is that a arms for sensors actuators jam has shifted position, check each one for free movement. Also you may have a sensor that went wrong, sensor and sensor check. Try opening the top cover, close, remove the print cartridge and reinsert, turn the printer off and unplug the unit, let stand for 5 minutes. If this does not help try referring to the service manual link I included and can help diagnose your problem. .
