How do you fix a pen that writes?

I tried everything to fix my favorite pen and nothing has worked. I tried to draw circles on a glass table with Windex, using a lighter, and with a piece of lead from a mechanical pencil to try to fix it. Have ink in it, but still nothing. Is there more crazy tricks to try or am I just out of luck?

If it is one of the cheapest (Bic pens) that the ink is a straw plastic, look at the bottom of the straw and you'll see a plug, when you get one of these pens, you must tighten the end cap to cut out or simply plug so that air can enter the straw for this purpose, otherwise the ink will soon stop coming out like a vacuum built into the straw (see this much in pens has spread the ink layer as people try to use it against the void.
